Middle Child, Philly Style Bagels, Parks on Tap, Di Bruno Bros., SNACKTIME Dream Picnic, Northern Liberties Restaurant Week, and so much more!
Happy Passover and Happy Easter, my friends. Here's all the Philly area food news "fit to print" this week.
While we’re not out of the pandemic woods yet, there’s a palpable feeling that better days are ahead with more restrictions gradually being lifted every week. The good news is restaurants are seeing an uptick in business, the bad news is they are finding it difficult to staff their restaurants. This is trickling down to the 3rd party delivery services. So, please continue to support the restaurants, but keep in mind there may be service issues or delays which may impact your experience. Remember to be kind and don’t be a Karen! We’re getting there, folks; keep calm and carry on. :)

SNACKTIME Dream Picnic Offers Safe Outdoor Food, Drink & Entertainment Fun
The SNACKTIME Philly Brass Band is hosting a “Dream Picnic” at an undisclosed location in South Philly on Saturday, April 10th from 1 to 3 p.m. The event will feature live music and socially distanced dancing, drinks, lunch, and dessert. SNACKTIME Philly, a six-piece brass band, provides musical entertainment throughout the city, playing in various locations on nights and weekends. For the Dream Picnic, SNACKTIME has teamed up with Chefs Matt Budenstein (Liberty Kitchen PHL) and Abby Dahan (The Bake School, Parc), to create a perfect picnic menu. While baskets are designed for two people, SNACKTIME says they can be shared with as many people as desired. Each basket costs $150, which includes the full menu, drinks, music, and a special SNACKTIME tote bag. Picnic baskets can be purchased until April 5th.

Sample Shoutout: Happy Being White Teas
This past week, I received a sample of Happy Being white teas. I’m glad I did. They happen to be very good and I love the nutrient benefits. Each bottle has the equivalent of 962 blueberries and is packed with EGCG, Vitamin D3, elderberry, and turmacin. Give ‘em a try!
That’s it for this week. Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook.
Until next week — much love!
