Closings
Sabrina’s Cafe
Popular brunch spot Sabrina’s Cafe announced they had closed their original Italian Market location at 910 Christian Street after 20 years. According to this NBC Philadelphia interview, co-owners Robert and Raquel DeAbreu plan on finding a new, larger space in the coming months. I sure hope so! Luckily, four other locations in Callowhill, University City, Wynnewood, and Collingswood remain open. Do you have fond memories of dining at the first location?
Ludovico’s Deli
Ludovico’s Deli at 9 Kings Highway in Haddonfield announced they are now closed due to “lack of staff” with pandemic relief efforts as the primary reason for the labor shortage. According to this Courier-Post interview, partners Larry and Roxane Maggio said they tried for months to fill multiple positions, but they could not compete with expanded unemployment benefits. They are considering selling the business. Were you a fan of Ludovico’s in Haddonfield?
